Oh My God! i have just finished making around 160 snowballs and i'm bushed!! lol but it was fun and quality control is the best....Yum It took just under 3 hours, start to finish! i took a load of pics which show me making the first batch....sad i know lol will post them when i get a chance lol

I got my new G&P SR-25 URX airsoft rifle today and it is sweet as! Two 9.6v 2200MaH batteries, Five 470 round mags, One 180 round mid cap mag, bipod, 6 SR-25 mag pouches and a dump pouch for my RICAS vest! I can't wait till this weekends shoot at SG-1, There is a hire group of 25 going up and our little band numbers about 12-14, so it will be target rich enviroment indeed lol I've still to buy a Hurricane copy of the Eotech 552 Holosight but all in good time :P
Still loads to do over the next few days, battery charging, cooking for the aftershoot bar-b-q and booze up, so my head is totally pickled right now lol BLEH!!!!

Finally made it and i'm now off work for a grand total of 18 wonderfully blissful, workfree, lazy days! :)
Jason rang me yesterday and told me that there is a shoot next Saturday, so excellent, i get to shoot up some noobs and mates, then afterwards get nished as a pewt and swap war stories lol

Well,  i have had my nice new hard drive for just over a week and it's still working! Woohoo! Fingers crossed still, just in case of the Hand Of Fate!

Well as of this Sunday morning i will be off work for a grand total of 18 days :) and the parents are away too hehe....PARTY! My cooking spree will soon commence lol ;)

And last night in work was great, no sooner have i clocked myself in and gone round to the supervisors office, i am told i am to go to the accident and emergency dept, 'cos one of the two porters hadn't bothered his arse coming in! Yay a night off from cleaning lol! So i started there shortly after 10pm and finished at 7.30am, it was busy from the time i arrived until 1.30am when the flood of idiots slowed to a snail's pace!, so the rest of the night was spent dandering around A&E looking for jobs to help pass the time, so when it was 7.30am i wandered around to my area, and poked my head in the supervisors office to say good morning and inform them that i was assigned elsewhere the previous night! Of course one of my bosses was there, she moaned at me saying that i was apparently not trained to do that job! I replied i have done it before and i covered the main ward block porter on his breaks, so essentially what i did was no different, but she cracked up anyway, narking on about that she must check what i have been trained to do! I also said that i had attended a short training course on the procedure of collecting a unit of blood, crossmatching etc... Then she cracked again saying that she wasn't aware that i had done it, it was required for me as when i cover the main ward block porter on his break i do occasionally have to pick one up! Also unless you do the course, due to new legislation i would not be allowed to collect any! SORRY FOR HAVING SOME INITIATIVE, SEEING AS YOU DOPEY BASTARDS DIDN'T BOTHER YOUR ARSES SENDING ME ANYWAY!! My advice boss-bitch - GO TO ANGER MANAGEMENT CLASSES or Start smoking dope! But otherwise fuck off and give me head peace!! At least i don't have to look at your butt-ugly bake for 3 weeks!! lol BII-AAATTCCHH!

Well as i said earlier 2 more nights then i don't have to think about that hole, with it's arsehole management who don't have a clue and spend their time pissing the staff off!

Well what a day i have had! I was up till 4.30am doofin' about the internet, went to bed and then was rudely awoken at 9.30am by my dad, who was complaining that the comp wasn't working, so i had a look at it and i found it didn't want to start up properly, it kept resetting for reasons best known to itself! So i texted J-G and picked his brains as to what might be the cause, he concluded that my Windows XP was most likely corrupted, so i attempted to repair, then reinstall, then i hit upon the idea of purchasing a new hard drive and an external one too (for backups), so i took the comp down to the guy that built it for me and left it with him, when i returned two hours later he said that the original hard drive had essentially died, so loads of my dad's work had been lost, i lost loads of pics, music and videos much to my disgust and anger, so it is 4.20am and i have just got all the basics reinstalled back on, still to put all my games back on! :-( Oh shite! Thank god i have all the mods and patches saved....except for world of warcraft, and that will take fucking ages to download again as i have a shit broadband speed!! C'mon British Telecom, get with the 21st Century and upgrade the fucking phone lines, ya tits!

Lol, my mood is mixed between fucking knackered, pissed off, glad my comp is working again, but miffed that i have to download stuff i lost! Bleh! Well bedtime shortly, believe me i'm looking forward to it!  ;-)

Ahh, it's so nice when you have finished work for the week, a few days off to do your own thing, sleep as long as you like, go online for hours and generally do as little as possible lol :)

I'm just off the phone to Jason and we were discussing the upcoming airsoft event in June...again!!
Running through ideas and seeing what suits for the weekend, then he started trying to talk me into buying a G&P M4 Bulldog, the bugger!! They look sweet and i do want to get one sometime, nice and compact and perfect for CQB :) I shall name it 'Noisy Cricket', even though it has an integral silencer! lol, I had suggested to him that i was going to sell my Classic Army M15A4 with M203 GL, but he said keep it for re-enactment events and shows, but invest in a R.I.S. system for it so i can turn it into a United States Marine Corps SPR (Special Purpose Rifle) that they use in Iraq, one of the guys at the shoot in March had one and it looked frikkin sweet, i'll also make inquiries about the body armour the guys wore because it looked really cool indeed! :)
So many nice things to buy and no money....Grrrr, the joy of annoying bills!!! Credit cards are the spawn of the devil!!!!

Well i also got a copy of 300 the movie off a mate, yes it is a pirate, i'm bad but the film is sooooooo good, i will buy a copy when it is officially released!

Well it's after 1am and i'm on the verge of passing out, not looking forward to work this weekend! (mental note to self - 'GET A NEW JOB!'), also work rang earlier asking me to cover tonight so i said i already had plans, their scream down the phone nearly deafened me, but simply put 'I have a life outside of work!' They obviously think we go home and sleep until they ring us to try and get us to cover any shifts! The management in my hospital couldn't organise a piss-up in a brewery!! Why don't they come in and cover the shifts themselves? They would no doubt soon discover that they have lumbered us with too much work!
Well enough of my issues with my work, it brings in money which is the main thing! :)
Also i have had some great conversations with a Kiwi Airsoft fiend called Nicola, she loves airsoft and Star Wars so she's cool in my books, only problem is the time difference! Which is amusing because i'm usually up to all hours playing World of Warcraft or playing with the guys of Dirty Inc. gaming clan! (Bunch of Irish and Yank stoners, always funny watching them play with their stoned comments on Teamspeak lol

Here are some recipes if any of you have an interest in cooking and have a mad sweet tooth! :) (This means you Nicci!! lol)

Mississippi Mud Pie

For the Crumb Crust Base
4 oz (100g) digestive biscuits, crushed (funnily enough!)
2 oz (50g) butter, melted
1 oz (25g) demerara sugar
Note:- I double the ingredients for the base!

For the Filling
14 oz (400g) plain (dark) chocolate, broken into pieces
8 oz (225g) butter
2 Tablespoons instant coffee or drinking chocolate
2 Tablespoons boiling water
10 fl oz (300ml) single cream
12 oz (350g) dark muscovado sugar
6 large eggs

To Finish
5 fl oz (150ml) whipping cream, whipped

Preheat the oven to 190  C/ 375 F/ Gas 5. Lightly grease an 8 in  (20cm) loose-bottomed cake tin or spring release tin.
     First make the base. Mix together the crushed digestive biscuits, the melted butter and sugar and spoon into the prepared tin. Level the mixture out evenly using the back of a metal spoon.
    For the filling, measure the chocolate, butter, instant coffee or drinking chocolate and water into a large pan and heat gently until the butter and chocolate have melted. Remove from the heat, beat in the cream, sugar and eggs and then pour the mixture on to the biscuit crust.
    Bake in the oven for about 45 minutes to an hour (check that it does not burn!) or until the filling has set. Allow to cool before removing the tin, then decorate the top with the whipped cream, also as a finishing touch grate some chocolate over the top.

Snowballs

16 oz (400g) digestive biscuits (crushed finely)
3 dessert spoons drinking chocolate
1 large tin condensed milk
4 oz (100g) margarine
pink and white marshmallows (approx 40)
coconut for rolling
Note:- Double the ingredients to make approx 80 snowballs

First place digestives in a doubled bag (take two plastic shopping bags, put one in the other) then beat till the biscuits are finely crushed (nice stress reliever :)) or alternatively use a blender.
Melt the butter in a large pan, then add the condensed milk, drinking chocolate and crushed biscuits, mix well  then remove from the heat (Do not let the mixture go cold!).
Get a container to store the snowballs in, a small bowl of water to wet your fingers, your bags of marshmallows and a plate with the coconut on it for rolling and set these on a table.
Now for making the snowballs (resist licking your fingers!), wet your fingers in the bowl of water then remove a small portion of the mixture from the pan, flatten it out then place a marshmallow in the centre, then close the mixture over it then roll it in the coconut then repeat as necessary.

Ovenless Chocolate Cake

4 oz (100g) Margarine
3 oz (75g) caster sugar
2 tablespoons drinking chocolate
8 oz (200g) marie biscuits (malt type biscuits), crushed
1 small beaten egg

Melt margarine and sugar over low heat, then add the beaten egg and drinking chocolate, mix in the crushed biscuits and stir well, Put the mixture into a suitable container then chill till it has set.

Hooray! I'm off till thursday night! I worked my usual shift of Thurs - Sat, but i had been asked last week to cover Sunday night as well! All i can say is THANK FUCK i'm finished! Now i can sit on my lazy fat ass and do sod all hehe!

Well i'm tired after last night's shift, plus i'm not looking forward to another 3 nights work instead of my usual 2! I stupidly agreed to cover a night shift, it's extra money i know but i hate that hospital, we on night shift are doing the work of at least 3 people each! Plus this morning i was to be booking a ticket for the upcoming Rolling Stones gig at Slane's Castle, Dublin, but i didn't have enough money thanks to bills, and to top it all off the tickets went on sale this morning and were sold out by lunchtime, and my mate who i was going to go with is now giving me grief about it!
I can't wait till the end of May when the parents go on holiday, cos' i'm booking a couple of weeks off work so i can relax and chill out, i plan to go to a few airsoft shoots and get quite pished lol :)

Well after getting to bed last night around 5.30am (damn World of Warcraft!!), i woke up at 1.30pm to the sound of the phone ringing, it was Jason... we started chatting about airsoft (as usual) then he said he was thinking of going to see '300' that has just been released in the cinema, about the 300 Spartans with their warrior King Leonidas who fought Xerxes and his immense Persian army in the battle for Thermopylae, well i said i wanted to go see it too, so he said get dressed and head up to Ballymena to meet him and we could both go see it, so i was washed and dressed for 2pm, hopped into my car and headed up, i arrived there around 2.55pm went to the Sainsbury's across the road and got some cash, then drove to the cinema across the road where i met Jason, he very kindly bought me a ticket saying that i had driven up and it was only fair, so for the next hour and a half we watched a film filled with loads of action and tonnes of gore, Saving Private Ryan meets Greek Mythology. After that we headed back to his house, we sat and chatted about all sorts of crap, but the bit i enjoyed was getting my hands on an airsoft Classic Army SCAR-L assault rifle which Jason is selling to me Mwahahaha! Plus i got a nice gun case off of him which is great for fitting a couple of long arms into. So we had a chinese for dinner once his wife Judith came home from work with his 3 year old son Caleb who was at his nursery for the day, i had great fun playing football with him and keeping him going and chasing him, such a hilarious child, he is his father's son, has the same huffs and attitude hehe...So jason and i had a chat about the upcoming Blackhawk Down shoot at Catterick in June, discussing what kit we may or may not buy, throwing ideas at each other, then it got a bit too chilly plus he has work tomorrow, so i decided to head on and let him get to bed, i'm just after getting home around 20mins ago and i still feel quite fresh :)

Well, i'm sitting here staring blankly at my pc screen enjoying a very big yawn! Just a wee bit tired as it is almost 4.50am, i am a creature of the night mwahahahaha! Night shift really messes your head up!

I'm just reminiscing about last weekend spent at Catterick, at the Stirling Airsoft shoot entitled 'Operation Quick Freedom', i really enjoyed myself, my friend jason rang a few days ago saying that there is another shoot in June, it's being run by Stirling Airsoft and it's being held in Whinny Hill FIBUA Training Site again, only this time the theme is 'Blackhawk Down!', all i can say is sweet! Time to dig out and dust off my US Tri-desert bats, but this time i will have to exercise more, working on the prnciple of, Train Hard, Fight Easy! I was out of breath quite a lot last weekend, then again i was carrying a rather heavy Classic Army Para-Minimi, about four 8.4v batteries, around 10,000 bb's, a three litre camelbak, my smokes (of course, nothing like a smoke during a firefight :D), my webbing/body armour (£120... but worth every penny!) and last but not least my radio!
A tonne of weight to hump and run around in, seven hours into the game my back was really beginning to hurt!
I blame the Minimi!! lol, it may be heavy but the rate of fire (around 1000rpm with 120 spring giving me approx 370fps) and a 2,400 rd capacity made it well worth the effort, but by 6pm my back was hinting i needed to carry something a bit lighter!
So i changed to my Classic Army M15A4 with M203 GL, which was pleasantly lighter but sadly lacking in power as it is standard straight out of the box, the last time i chrono'd it, i was getting around 310-315fps which was fair, but at Catterick with their limit for all aeg's set at 370fps i was at a disadvantage, but thankfully it's long barrel aided in slightly better range and tighter grouping, also with the enemy attacking it was just a case of let them get in close then give them the good news, unfortunately on the sunday morning, one of the enemy teams players wearing a darker version of ACU, ran away from me trying to shoot one of my team concealed in bushes, i opened up on him from less than 30ft away, i could clearly see the rounds impacting on his back, i must have pumped as many as 100rds into him combined with my yells demanding he take his hits before he conceded, i heard later after the game had ended that he and five other teammates had been caught cheating and were taken back to their room and told to pack and leave, also they were banned from the site, what made it amusing was that for the past three years, jason and a large group of players from here had been attending 'Fireball', a site situated east of Birmingham, the six players asked to leave were the resident team/marshalls from Fireball! Well the first year the team with the irish in it had beaten the so called english 'elite' teams on the first of two days, then on the second day the rules were conviently modified to let the predominantly english team to win, much to the disgust of the irish guys!
The second year the irish guys went again and completely thrashed the english to show how crap they were (they really are sore losers!). Then last year i went over, but i had been told what could possibly happen, but once there i soon discovered that the english so called elite were more interested in getting all the fancy kit, or going nuts accessorizing their guns to death! Which was horrible! But after the first day we led by over 200pts, on the sunday jason didn't feel too well so i stayed with him to keep him company, then strangely enough on the sunday we heard the rules had suddenly changed!
The enemy english team were tasked to defend, our team had to attack, but members of our team soon noticed all the marshalls were making sure that we took our hits, but were not checking the defenders, who were soon seen to be not taking their hits which caused numerous players of my team to stop playing, one of the guys from Predator called woody stormed past our tent, cracking up and telling us about the blatant cheating going on, but ironically we still beat them again! lol

Well enough ranting for now lol, it's now 5.25am and i really need to sleep! so ta-ta for now. :)
